Crescent Moon

This was taken on May 16, 2010. It was Sunday.
It looks like a crescent moon, a symbol used by the Muslims.
According to my friends who watched the news, the star there is actually the planet Venus.
It's so nice to know that I've seen a once in a lifetime art of nature.

*Sorry for the wires, we were riding in a car there actually and dad doesn't have time to stop. So it was just a hurry shot of mine.

Craving For True Blood

I really really want to finish this series. I have a tape of it actually.
But then, I can't watch it. It's not because of the nude scenes but it's because of my dad who won't let go of the DVD player. He's also a movie addict like me. Well, that doesn't surprise me of what I've become. Right now he's watching "Uncommon Valor". And I'm getting pissed of here already. Actually Im not complaining to him, how can I complain? True blood is not a film for my age! Urgh!

What's With The Title?

What made me decide to entitle my blog "contagious gal"?
Let's see..

A. I have a lot of various kinds of laugh.

1. Silent laugh
2. A laugh with a sound of "k" (pronounced as "gege" in Chinese only with an air on it)
3. Before I laugh, I stomp my feet or I jump then that's my laugh.
4. I start my laugh with a "nananana" then laugh.
5. I spread my arms and position myself like an old lady with an osteoporosis.
6. Instantly hug my belly and open my mouth really wide like I can put a whole hamburger in it.
   

Conclusion: My friends teases me with it and copies it. Sometimes after spending a lot of time with them, I notice that they've somehow acquired my laughing skills. Then they blame me when they notice they're doing the same thing as me then laugh. I wonder, is it because of pheromones?


B. I'm really frugal or should I say, thrifty with money. I think it goes with the genes. Just like with laughing, spending some time with me, I think makes you inherit some of my characteristics. So being with me makes you save a lot of money. You may think that this may be a good part but being with me means that even if you're super hungry I won't let you eat, all that I'll be saying to you is, "Come on, it'll be gone in a few minutes besides you're not gonna die. And you're still going home later where there is a lot of free foods!" Yep, that's insane.

C. I like making up fiction stories involving me as the main character. So if you're with me, you'll be part of it too and yes, you'll participate in making the story up.
